Fiat Club America

It all began in 1984.  Into my junior year of high school my father purchased the 1979 Fiat Spider 2000 that I drive to this day.  The car became a focal point of our bonding as not only Father/Son and mentor/apprentice but also as close friends.  Many hours I spent handing tools to him and learning.

Me and Dad at Mt. Lemmon, AZ shortly before his passing in 1999.

Shortly after the birth of my daughter Amanda in the spring of 1999, my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  He passed away a few short months later.  He never had a chance to meet his grandson Matthew who was born in the May 2000.  After my father's passing, I inherited the Spider on which we spent so much time together.

The enthusiasm for Fiats that my father instilled in me is stronger today than it has ever been.  I strive to keep my Spider in great shape so that someday I can pass it along to my own children.  With the repairs and improvements I have made to the Spider in the last 6 years, the car is better than it was than when it left the factory in Italy.

Thanks to my father's influence, and two of the greatest kids in the world, I have been able to turn my passion for these fantastic Italian automobiles into a growing business.
